Review, verify, and process vendor invoices, ensuring proper coding, approvals, and supporting documentation.
Reconcile vendor statements, research discrepancies, and resolve issues in a timely manner.
Prepare and execute weekly or scheduled payment runs (ACH, checks, wires).
Maintain accurate and up-to-date vendor records, including W-9 forms and payment details.
Process employee expense reports in compliance with company policy.
Collaborate with internal departments to resolve invoice or purchase order discrepancies.
Assist with month-end close activities, including accruals, AP aging reports, and reconciliations.
Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies.
Support audits by providing documentation and responding to inquiries.
Identify opportunities to improve AP processes and support system enhancements.
Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field (Bachelor's preferred).
1-3 years of accounts payable experience.
Understanding of basic accounting principles and AP best practices.
Experience with accounting or ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, QuickBooks, Microsoft Dynamics).
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and general data entry.
Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
